Inventory

Inventory is the master list of saleable units. Each unit has a tower, floor, number, configuration, carpet area, facing, price rules and a status.

The status must be live and shared. If a rep in the sales office and a channel partner on the phone both see a unit as available, it can be sold twice. Double-selling damages trust with both buyers.

• Available: open for sale
• On hold: reserved for a buyer for a fixed time
• Booked: booking amount received
• Sold: agreement registered
• Blocked: held back by management (for landowner share, later release or other reasons)
