Notes
- Kolkata, Howrah and other municipal or corporation areas: 6% up to ₹1 crore, 7% above ₹1 crore. Panchayat (rural) areas: 5% and 6%.
- No separate concession for women buyers.
- Temporary rebates on stamp duty and circle rates offered after Covid have ended (sources disagree on whether the end date was June 2024 or March 2025); none is assumed here.
- Registration fee is about 1% of market value; some guides put it slightly higher (about 1.1%) once fixed charges are included.
